Well new week and a fall outfit

Well with the cooking weather here, mom has brought out the fall clothes. Today was an expecially cute one, with matching shoes!!! Check out the pictures below. Edward is doing so great, he seems to be talking more all the time, of course we ca. Only understand about 10% of it. 

Off to the races

Well today we took Edward down to Lancaster Blvd to see the annual Grand Prix of Lancaster Grand Prix. The close Lancaster Blvd and a few side streets and make a massive Go Kart road course. Last year when we took him he cried a lot due to the noise. However this year I pre bought Edward some ear plugs to wear to block the sound, and he actually kept them on loved the races, see a few of the pictures we took today.

Hockey Helmet is here and talk talk talk

Well, big news.. Edward hockey helmet is here.. Tried to get a good picture of him with it on, but could only get him drinking milk while wearing it. See picture below

New hats and gloves

Well with the weather getting colder in CA, it is that time of year when we need to start dressing Edward with a jacket, which I posted pictures of yesterday, and hat and gloves. Below you will see a picture of Edward in his new hat and gloves. Don't tell him that they are so "last season ". Mommy got them on sale last year at the end if the season. If the kids find out at daycare that they are so last season, they might pick on him, so please don't tell them.....

Outside Edward will go

Well with our weather cooling down, Edward has become an outside kid. He is outside playing at daycare when we pick him up and then after his welcome home milk, we head outside again. He loves it. He loves chasing and playing with all his toys outside! Oh and boy does he ever have a lot of toys!!!! Mommy also got him a new fall coat, check it out below. 

Super Edward, snuggle bug

Well Edward has started to be a good snuggle bug. Edward has a habit of waking up early in the morning because he seems to want snuggle with us. So anyway, we bring him in and snuggle up with him, see the picture below.
Edward recently got some new towels from his aunt and uncle in PA. One has the superman symbol but says, Super Edward!!! See the picture below. Well goodnight...

Another Monday

Well nothing really new to report tonight, Edward just continues to get bigger. One Note however I may start blogging once every few days instead of once a day as I sometimes don't have a lot to write about, but if we do have any big news I will blog it immediately. Another weekend gone

Well another weekend in the books, time for Edward to go back to daycare. Oh a fun fact, Edward's daycare teachers told us he is the best at clean up time, I just wish he used some of that skill at home. 

Another Eeward has learned to do is some of the motions to the Wheels on the Bus. Of course everytime I try and video tape him he stops, figures. One of these days I will get the video for everyone to see. Well goodnight from the Days. 

Fencing gone

Well today we removed all of the rest of the fencing from the living room. Edward has full control know.... 

Edward did, before we took all the fencing down, read to himself one final time, only the way Edward can, check out the picture below... 

We also cleaned up a little before mommy went to the mall with grandma. Edward and I meant them for lunch but then came home . Well goodnight 

 

Another great day

Edward had a grays at daycare and even had a great speech therapy session. His therapist told us he is starring to repeat everything she is saying well in his own language but you can hear the first letter sound at least . 

Tomorrow Edward is going to the mall to go shopping with his grandma.

PT graduation?

Well during Edward's PT therapy today at the center in Palmdale, his therapist said she was so pleased with Edward's progress that she thinks he will be ready to exit PT early next year!!!! What great news and his OT is down to one day !!! He is getting more speak therapy but when he gets his hearing aids, that should really help him to take off!!!! 

Mac and cheese...

Well today you can say that Edward had his share of his favorite food, Mac and cheese. Well it all started this morning when mommy gave him left over Mac and cheese, since he didn't want his cereal. Then at day car today, guess what they had for lunch? You guessed it Mac and cheese!!! His teachers told Melissa that he loved it so much he got two serving!!!! Then after day care mommy took Edward to Panera Beard Company to meet some friends from school and guess what he had for dinner? You guessed it, Mac and cheese!!! Unfortunately he did not get Mac and cheese for his night time snack!!!! Boy does he love anything with cheese!!!! Especially Mac and cheese!!!

Edward's car and down the slide we go

Well tonight was so nice, that we took Edward for a drive around the block in his new car and then he decided to park it in the driveway next to ours, see the picture below.
After the walk we took him out back and he decided it was time for him to go down the slide by himself. check out the video, the link is below. He is growing up so fast...

Sleep already

Edward had a rough night. He was up at 2am and would not sleep unless he was with one of us. So mommy slept with him on the couch until 4am and I slept with him until 6am. So we are both really tired, so sorry to make this so short, need to get to bed.. Goodnight

Shopping

Well today we went grocery shopping with Edward and well he loved the new carts that our local grocery store just got, check out the picture below. Edward also got see his grandma Campbell today as we brought he over for a early dinner, he smiled as soon as he saw her and climbed right up on her lap to give her a big kiss goodbye. Edward sure does love all his grandparents.

Date Night new content

Well Melissa and i had our first date night in a while, as we had one of Edward's old daycare teachers baby sit him. He just loves all the attention he gets from everyone. We had a great date night, as we meant up with our friends Natalie and Hank for dinner on the Blvd in Lancaster.

Oh my goodness, we are almost to 15,500 visitors and I am still working on the 15000 visit surprise, maybe I should just can it and work on a surprise fro 20,000, since we should be there around Thanksgiving. Edward pees

Well after Edward's bath tonight he walked from the tub to his bedroom, then sat down and peeded on the carpet in his room and thought it was funny.

Taco night

Today was taco night at the days house and boy did Edward ever get into it. (See picture below). 

Nothing else really new, we just can't believe how big Edward is getting. 24+ pounds.... 

Edward drives to grandma's house

Well Edward took his new chair over to Grandma Campbell nursing home tonight to say hi. He wanted his grandma to check out his new ride. If you haven't seen his new ride yet, check it out below. I guess when mommy went to pick up Edward tonight he wanted nothing to do with her, he actually went the other way.I guess that is a good thing, since it means he actually is starting to like daycare even though he cries everyday we drop him off..

Edward Edward Edward

Well when I dropped Edward off at daycare this morning, he started crying as soon as he saw the room, which broke my heart... But then when I went to pick him up today, he didn't want to leave.. Come on Edward make up your mind already... Which is it??? Well as Edward's Grandma Day put it today when we were video chatting, "Edward is getting so big". We can hardly believe that just over two years ago, he was born at just over a pound and just under a foot long, and know he is over 35 inches long and over 24 pounds. Before you know it Edward will be going to K, and won't that be a heard day for both of us... Well nothing else really new, I just wish Edward would make up his mind already...

Update from LA Children's

Looks like Edward will need two hearing aids however they couldn't completed the test because he woke up too early, so we have to go back Thanksgiving week 

Looks like Hearing aids

Well Edward only had half the procedure today, due to the fact that he woke up half way through. The sedative they gave him, didn't work as well as they hoped I guess. The doctor did tell us to be prepared for Edward to have to wear hearing aids. He can hear, just not at all sound levels. She is like 90% sure that he will need them but wants to complete the test when we go back in November to make sure, because if you give a child a hearing aid who doesn't actually need one, you could do lots of damage to the hear. So as she said, it is better to be safe and make sure with 100% assurance. She did tell us that if he needs them they will cost between 3000-4000 dollars, which of course freaked us out, because there is no way we could come up with that kind of money. But she also asked if Edward has CCS (California Children Services) , which he does, so hopefully they will pay for them, or I may have to look for a night job, no joke. But whatever Edward needs we will find away to get it for him, even if we have to sell stuff or move out of our house.. He is the most important person...

Well with that I will say goodnight... We were hoping to have complete results but we will have to wait until November for a conclusion to this hearing mystery.

One more day to procedure new car

Well Edward has one more day to his ABR test. Monday morning is the big day, and we hope to know by noon, but it depends on when Edward decides to goto sleep. We did go and buy him a "Coup" car, so he can practice trying to push it with his feet, why you ask. Well today when he was walking around out back, he went around the corner of the house and headed right for the peddle power fire truck we have from him. He climbed in and tried to move it, but he is still a little too small. So we decided to goto Toys R us and buy him a coup car. I didn't get any really good picture of him in the coup, since we didn't leave for Toys R us until 6 and by the time I got it put together it was dark. We did take one with the phone, see below, tomorrow we hope to get better pictures with the camera. Well goodnight.

feeling better

When we are feeling much better in the Day house. First mommy got really sick and then she gave it to me, thankfully Edward never got sick.... I think he might have given it to mommy. Well we have a big event coming. This Monday we head to LA Children's Hospital for Edward to have his ABR test to determine if his hearing issue will require surgery or a hearing aid. Goodbye Dasha

Well today at OT we had to say goodbye to Dasha, Edward OT therapist as she is living Look Forward.. Good luck Dasha and you will be missed, we can never thank you enough for all you have done for our family.

The Day Fmaily

Getting back to normal

Well we are trying to get back into our normal routine. Melissa did however take off today to take Edward for an evaulation appointment to see if he is still eligible to keep all his therapy. Which she said he should be, once they saw how far behind he is. Edward is doing great but still has a ways to go before he catches all the other kids on his class. Well that is about it, off to bed and another day of work tomorrow.. Goodnight

Goodbye Fresno, Web Site updated

Well we said goodbye to Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Gary as we headed home to Lancaster. We sure had a great time. thanks for everything. Below is a picture of Edward walking out to the car this AM and saying goodbye as only Edward can.

Also don't forget to check his youtube channel as we have a few videos there we took from Fresno, one of Edward riding a truck in front of Babies R us and the other Edward making sounds he hears in a book as he reads it.. Another Fun day

Well we had another fun day in Fresno. We went to church and then a awesome park, see picture below of Edward hanging out at the park with his Aunt and Uncle. I have lots of pictures of Edward in Fresno having fun however I am having an issue with the FTP servers at go daddy, so in English I am unable to upload at this time. I hope to look into the issue more when we go home tomorrow. Well we have a long drive ahead of us, so goodnight from Fresno CA. Oh and we want to wish Alison Golden a very happy birthday. Sorry Alison Edward was unable to facetime today, maybe when he get home we can factime so he can wish you happy birthday.
