Happy New Year

Happy New Year from the Day family!!! We had a busy day today. First we went to the park so Edward could ride his bike, see video link below, then we came home and played catch and other toys, see video link below (Edward can catch the ball in his glove) and finally we are having a family New Year's party!!!! Edward just loves chips and is standing by the chips while he watches his show, guarding them I guess , see picrure.

Christmas 2015

Well Christmas 2015 is here and gone.. Did Edward ever love all his presents and company. He actually asked us if we could have xmas again tomorrow. He just loved all the new stuff he got. He did a great job unwrapping all of his presents but he also helped us too. Well Edward went to see Disney on Ice, Frozen!!! And loved it! He loves all the music in Frozen... It was actually a little weird taking him to the Honda Center and not going to a Ducks game! Frozen was at the Honda Center home of the Anaheim Ducks! We did get to goto the team store before we went to Disney on Ice! On vacation, first sleepover a success

Edward had his first sleep over last night with his buddy Dillion, we were so worried we got a hotel room in Valencia near Dillion's house just in case. However Edward loved being their he didn't want to leave.. The boys had so much fun together... Below are a few pictures...

WE ARE ON VACATION.. WE ARE SO EXCITED.....  We have 3 special places to go during break.. one is before xmas and 2 after.... And yes one is Legoland, Edward's 12th trip!!!! He loves Legoland so much he pretends to go there with his little people... It is very funny!!!

One day left.. JUMP JUMP JUMP

Well we have one more day left....  As Edward's daycare finishes out the year, they have had a few celebrations this week. Today they had a pajama party and all the kids watched a movie. His teacher took a picture.. Edward is in there on the lower left next to the teacher....

Edward has recently discovered he can jump over stuff really well... He can jump over about anything... See a few pictures below of Edward jumping over a puzzle the floor..... 

Glasses

Well Melissa tired out Edward's glasses again, he kept them on longer but still seems to prefer being front rim Joe , sitting very close to the TV.... Below are a few pictures of Edward with his glasses today...

Stuck inside

Well Edward got sick on Thursday night and was running a 103 temp attire. So to make a long story short, Melissa took him to the doctor and there is a fever going around that lasts 3-5 days. So we are keeping Edward inside this weekend and am monitoring his tempature! So far so good , but we had to get creative! A little baseball , playing catch, while watching hockey! Mommy's little helper

Edward has become mommy's little baking helper. He lives to cut out the sugar cookies and out eyes on the ginger beard ones. He calls himself, Cookie Monster, when he is helping, it is so cute. Below are a few photos 

Santa, new room

Well Edward made his yearly visit to see Santa! He was so excited this year... He asked Santa for Cookie Monster!!!! Not sure what that means? 

We also did the big switch.... Edward room is now a Star Wars room!!!! He is so excited about it!!!!! See pictures below

Well Edward has done this a few times but not consitently . What you ask.... Pedal his bike! He will do it sometimes but today he just got on and rode up and down the hall!!!! Edward did great

Happy "adjusted" birthday Edward

We celebrated Edward's 4th "adjusted" birthday at Chuck E Cheese. He loves it there. When I asked him if he wanted to go when I picked him up from school he got so excited. All he could do is talk, I could understand like every 3rd word, he just kept going on about how he goes all the time and loves it there. Below are a few photos. Big night tonight! Baking with mommy

Well the Xmas baking season has begun. Edward of course is the number one helper!!!! See pictures below.... Tomorrow is a huge day for us..... Anyone now why????? Hint.... It marks the 4ty year anniversary of something....

Winter is here

Boy did it ever get cold quickly out here in California.... Last night we even got a little snow , just a very little. Today the high was only 50 with a low of 28. Edward is sure bundling up to goto school, 2 coats, a hat and blanket, see picture below. He does not seem to mind!

Last night we took Edward to the LA zoo for a nightly light show . He loves it!!!!! Below are a few pictures!!!!

Edward gets inventive

Well this year as we decorated the tree Edward found a way to put decorations up high. Since he can't reach he went all the way out to the garage and brought back a step ladder all by himself, I kid you not. Below us a picture of Edward decorating the tree this year! 

Story #2- Disneyland

Ok here is funny story number 2 from our adventures to Disneyland and California Adventure. 

When we got there on Monday spent the day at Disney's California Adventure, the other Disney park. When we got there Edward said "I want to ride red bus", which is a red trolley car that anyone can ride that takes you through part of the park. When we got on his was so excited. One of the drivers saw how excited he was and let him blow the whistle ,which is what the picture below is of. It was not a pretty picture when we had to get off the trolley but when he saw the rides he was fine.....

Well on this Thanksgiving day, I just want to give tanks to everyone who has helped us through these very challenging 4 plus years.... We would have never made it with out your support (Sorry this blog entry is late for some reason it didn't post yesterday) 

Great Weekend at Disneyland

We had such a great weekend trip to Disneyland, well the beginning of the week I guess. So many stories to tell you about our weekend that I will be sharing in this blog the next few days.. The first story is about the Storm Trooper and Edward picture you see below.
Some background, since Disney now owns Star Wars and Episode 7 comes out in 21 days, not that I am counting or anything. Disneyland's Tomorrow land is now the Season of the Force, with lots of Star Wars stuff to help build up even more excitement for the movie if that is even possible. As part of this, they have Storm Troopers walking around and randomly stopping to take pictures with random kids. Well Edward and I are sitting down waiting for Melissa to get me a BB3 cup full of Lemonade, BB3 is the new robot in Star Wars Episode 7. Well as we are waiting the Storm Troopers come by, stop, point to Edward and say "We have been looking for you" and then pose for pictures with Edward. It probably helped that Edward was wearing his Jedi Knight in Training Shirt. It made both of our days, well probably mine more than his. They just picked him out of the crowd and moved on with all these people following them...FYI- They only will pose with kids they pick.
