Arrived safely

We have arrived safely in Fresno. We are visiting Edward's great aunt and uncle. Tomorrow Edward us taking them to see...... Well it was there xmas present, so you will have to wait until tomorrow night blog to see what adventure is in store for us.... 

Out growing new clothes

Well below is a picture of Edward in pajamas he got for Xmas that fit at xmas. As you can see he must have gotten bigger since then, look at how short the top is, you can see his tummy!!!!

Lots of news

Ok where do I start.
Well this past weekend we took Edward to the kitty compound in Rosemond (It is like a mini Zoo that only has cats), Edward kept saying hi kitty and would meow to every cat.  Of course every time I tried to record him doing it he would stop. In other news, today we once again tried to put Edward's glasses on him, but this time he actually kept them on for more than 1 sec. He did not leave them on a long time, but he seemed to start to understand that he can see better with them on.. Below are a few pictures I was able to take quickly before they came off, is it just me or is he so handsome with them on...

And last but not least, tonight I had Edward stand next to the height chart so I could mark out how much he has grown since October (the last time I did it...) Drum roll......... He grew ONE inch and is now about 3 feet 4 inches tall.... Oh boy....

Big boy swing

Well today Edward decided it was time to try out some of his big boy swings on his swing set, so he got on his green swing, see pictures below. Boy did he love it, he even decided it was time to try out the slide again, he has been afraid of the slide we think because it is really fast, trust me I have tired it out!

Goodbye Dr. Lipsky

They say the connections you make in the NICU will stay with you forever, while it has been true so far, we had to say goodbye to Dr. Lipsky , the NICU doctor that delivered both William and Edward. She is not retiring, just switching hospitals. Our NICU has decided to increase what it can do for the babies by bringing doctors in from UCLA , thus the old doctors are moving on except for Dr. Thangavel, the head doctor. So tonight we took Dr. Lipsky out for a thank you dinner, below are a few pictures of Edward saying goodbye, thank you again  for everything, you will never know how much you mean to this family and what you have done and given us....

Is it just us or dies Edward really look big in his bath coat ? Oh by the way he loves it so much he bounced up and down on our bed in excitement!!!! See a picture below . FYI- when did he get so big!

Quick funny story

Last night at speak (Wednesday), his therapist was going over ending sounds of words, yes he is doing that great that she is starting to get him to pronounce the word correctly . Well she was going over the ending s, she would show him a picture and he would try and say it. Everything was going great until the word kiss came up. Instead of saying kiss, he stopped and went around to everyone and gave them a big kiss, it was so funny ! We all laughed and cried a little bite. 

Funny story...

Well when we drop Edward recently, since xmas break, he cries and does not want to stay but then in the afternoon when we pick him up he cries that he does not want to leave! I wish Edward would make up his mind. 

Yesterday afternoon Melissa's family lost a dear friend, Peter Belmore, we send our sympathy to the Belmore family and I personally am honored to have meant Peter a few times, you will be missed. 

Great weekend

Well we had a great 3 day weekend. The weather is so warm that Edward got to go outside a lot and even made a few trips around Lancaster. 

He also found a new place to draw up in his club house, Melissa is not sure about it, but he seems to love it!

He also found a new place to eat lunch! 

Edward the stuntman

On Saturday we took Edward to the mall to play in the kid's play area before the stores opened. The mall was open for the walkers and at that time of day no kids are there. Dinner for 3

Well we took Edward out for a nice dinner last night at Olive Garden, thanks again to the Waters family for the gift card for Xmas. Below are a few pictures of mommy and her date 

Having fun outside

Well it is so warm in Lancaster that we have been able to go outside a lot with Edward. Today we invented a new game called draw on the wall. Well it actually is just Edward drawing with chalk on the wall in our back yard, but he seems to sure love the game.. See a few pictures below, one more day left until we get a 3 day weekend!!!!

Painting

Edward and mommy did some painting while I went to Bell Choir tonight. Below are a few pictures. FYI, Edward loves to paint.... Edward is also really being to notice if we leave, when I was leaving for choir he said, bye daddy I love you and blew me kisses.... Boy did it make my heart melt....

Big boy

Edward is getting so big , not just appearance wise but also his actions. For example today when we went to Sam's club shopping he decided to eat with us on the benches and even walk instead of riding in the cart... When did he turn into a little man? Vacation comes to an end

Well our vacation comes to an end. It has been a great 3 weeks but in the end as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end!!! 

Edward and I spend our last day watching the Anaheim Ducks retire Teemu Selanne's number 8. Edward liked it so much he asked for more please. I had to tell Edward that they only retire one number at a time!!!

Fun day with uncle

Edward had a fun day with uncle Johnny who is visiting us from PA. He is in Vegas again in business and came here this weekend to visit us and his mom (Edward grandma Campbell). Another Fun Day at Legoland

Well we had another fun day at Legoland, Edward just loves the park. We are so happy. Legoland is the right size park for Edward, it had a little bit of everything for kids his age and a little older. This time he loved riding the boats and playing with the Legos in the Duple Play-town. We have arrived

We have arrived at our last family vacation before we go back to school. The location of our getaway is.........

Legoland!!!! Again , he just loves it here and so does daddy, the park was not actually open today when we arrived so we went to the Sea Lufe Aquarium next door, our season passes work there too. Eating in fort

Well today I got invintative during lunch. Edward did not want to come inside to eat so I took it out to him, and placed it on his bar on the ground floor of his fort, see pictures below. He just loved eating out there. 

New look, planes

Well edwardday.com has been updated finally. You probably already know that if you are reading this blog. 

We took Edward to Joe Davis Air Park today in Palmdale, it is a city park where you can look at many different real life decommissioned planes. Edward just lived it, he kept saying, look plane, look plane.
