Yes that is what Edward said at speech today a few times! "Excuse me I was talking!", it shocked us all... It was just .... Shocking. I guess we were not listening to him...sorry buddy 

Breakfast with friends

Edward has had such great drop offs lately that he just walks to the table, where his friends are eating, and says goodbye mommy or daddy . Melissa got a picture of it today , of course that was after mommy and me duffle time. See all the pictures below....

YMCA

It fun to swim at the YMCA. We finally made it to the YMCA for another swimming session with Edward. Oh boy is he ever doing great! He can actually swim with his body glove sport vest on. No pictures or video sorry! We just enjoyed the moment! Below is a picture of Edward coming out of the YMCA!!!

Thanks again to cousin Sadie, Abby and auntie Denise for taking Edward to the Y In Pennsylvania were we discovered that Edward can actually swing! 

Come for a ride, new chair

Well anyone want a ride, Melissa is giving free Tricycle rides to anyone.. See picture below.... Of Course you have to fit on the back of the tricycle, so I am little too big!
Edward also is enjoying his new chair for his grandparents in Florida.. They bought it for him while we were there visiting and mailed it to him to enjoy here, and boy is he ever enjoying it!!!

Edward's big day

On Saturday I had training all day sonMelissa took Edward down to Santa Anna with Nalatie and Luke to a truck show to benefit the What a Wish Foundation. Oh for those of you who don't know where Santa Anna is, just think LA, it is down there in that area.

After they got home, we all went over to the nursing home to see grandma and we also face timed (video chatted) with Edward's cousin in Fresno whose birthday was today. Edward sang him a song, not happy birthday. Happy birthday again Greg Waters....

Very busy

Sorry the blog has not been updated daily, we have been very busy. Yesterday I had choir practice so Melissa took Edward to the dog park to ride his tricycle. No pedaling yet, he just loves to push it around the park with his feet. On Monday I took Edward in the spa and yes I got lots of great pictures and a few videos! However when I went to download them from our water proof camera it gave me an error, bad card! (Maybe the camera is not as waterproof as adversted)  I tired for over an hour to try and get the images and video off with no success! Sorry will try again soon! The pictures were cute however! Hope everyone is having a great week. We have speech tonight (Wednesday) and Edward and I are coming home to watch the Anaheim Ducks play game 4 of there first round playoff series. And for those you you wondering, yes Edward likes to watch hockey! He calls it ockey! 

Another Boys only day

Melissa took her mom to the Poppy Festival today, so that meant a BOYS ONLY DAY.. So we started with breakfast, at home this time. Edward decided he wanted Mac and Cheese, so dad made it for him. Then we went to Apollo Park, and Edward rode his Tricycle around 80% of the path around the park, which is about 1.5 miles. He wanted to get off it and walk, not sure if it was because he was tired or because he wanted to go see the ducks. (Apollo Park has 4 huge ponds with lots of ducks). After our park adventure we went home to swim and play bubbles. I was going to get some pictures today of hime swimming in the spa but discover the water proof camera needed to be charged so next time.... What a fun day.. fun day with Edward

Had really fun day with Edward. Melissa had a class to take in the morning for school so it was a BOYS morning. We went to the park to so he could ride his tricycle, then out to breakfast and then finally home to swing.. Oh we also played bubbles too. A very busy morning!
After mommy got home, we all went to the annual Poppy Festival in Lancaster...

Story time with daddy

Tonight Edward and I had a little story time before bed. We read for almost 1 hour before I tucked I'm in... See a few pictures of our reading time.. I just love reading to my little buddy...

Great night

We took Edward to our local YMCA to go swimming and guess what? He actually did little swimming with the help of his floatation vest, he was doing so great... He didn't want to leave! We plan on taking him back again tomorrow we hope. I will try and get a picture or two. After the YMCa we went out for a quick dinner at The Green House Cafe, some of you may remember it (we had our wedding rehearsal dinner there). Then we took Edward down to our local Farmer's Market for some Ice Cream which he just loved. He actually loved it so much that he made a huge mess and starting sticking his whole hand in his mouth to get all the ice cream he could...
After that he came home and starting using his play vacuum to clean up, and then finally it was time for some books. What a busy night!!!

Swim

Edward has a new life jacket he wears that gives him more motion and guess what? He is almost swimming in the spa. He has actually move around by himself without touching bottom or me helping him... GO EDWARD GO!  I will try and get some pictures of him swimming soon when there are two of us to watch him!

Another Bike Ride

Edward went for another bike ride, this time he asked to peddle, I showed him, he tired for a little bit, and then started using his feet again. Oh well he will figure to out soon...... Edward also played tee ball again outside and he is still choosing to hit left handed.... and ONLY LEFT HANDED, he won't do it right handed just left. I have a video in slow motion that I will upload tomorrow night

Biking everywhere

Edward just loves his little tricycle. He goes everywhere on it. He pushed it with is feet down to some medical building down the road from our house, around the parking lot and back, and he did that twice. The second time he wanted to go down to ave J (A major street in Lancaster),and go around the block, which is about a 1.5 mile walk. I told him no, don't think that is such a good idea.

New Bike

Today we got Edward his first big boy bike... It is called a balance bike, basically a 2 wheel bike with no pedals to help kids learn balance before they try a 2 wheel bike. It is suppose to be better than using training wheels, we shall see. Below are a few pictures of Edward trying out his new bike in the house, he seems to like it, however later in the day he flipped it over and started to pretend to work on it... Haircut and tip a cop

Well tonight we took Edward to the mall to get a haircut and then to Claim Jumper (a restaurant ) for CHP Tip a cop night for charity. AJ's dad was one of the cops working to raise money for special Olympics. Edward even got a sticker badge!!!!
