Jump Jump Jump

Well today Edward went to his first birthday at Sky High Sports.. It is a trampoline fun center.. Lots of trampolines to jump on. We didn't know if Edward would like it or not but we could not get him off the trampolines... Below are a few pictures and a link to a few videos we took.. HE HAD A BALL!!!!

Edward and his new toy

Melissa showed Edward how to operate a trigger water bottle. It is actually his OT homework but he loves to squirt you with water. The weird thing is he lives to also get himself wet... It is too funny. I took a video I will post tomorrow on his YouTube channel. Below are a few pictures

Special guest

Edward came to school to see me after work and brought me dinner. (I was staying at school til 6 to help with our 5th grade visitation), so Edward and mommy surprised me with dinner. Edward just loves my classroom. He likes the chairs and he lives drawing on my white boards... See a few pictures below of his visit!!!

Mommy and me night

Edward had a great night with mommy while I was at choir practice. They played outside and had tons of fun! Edward even drove his power wheel car around until it ran out of battery power. Below are a few pictures from a very fun night 

Great Memorial Day

Edward had such a great day today. In the morning Selena came over to watch him so Melissa and I could clean out the garage with out the help of Edward. It looks so good , it looks like we got robbed... After that Edward took his nap and then we headed over to Grandma Campbell's for a Memorial Day picnic...Edward sure had a blast....
Well tomorrow we all head back to school, bit only 12 more SCHOOL DAYS.. Not that I am counting.....

Busy Weekend

Well we sured had a busy weekend. On Saturday we went down to Orange CA, to Chapman University to watch Georgina Flores graduate. She was a student I had in middle school and over the years we have remained in touch and Melissa and I consider her our honorary daughter. Edward just loves her so much too. Edward actually wore a hat for her, and he hates hats. They actually gave everyone who attended graduation a Chapman University hat, EVERYONE. Today we took Edward to church and then shopping. After all that and his nap we played a little outside and guess who discovered his play set out back again. EDWARD? He just went down the slide because he wanted to and actually went in the big boy swing, see picture below...
Tomorrow we are celebrating Memorial Day with Grandma Campbell at the Nursing home...

Edward the swimmer

Edward might be an Ilympic swimmer instead of hockey player. He just loves to go swimming. He just gets so excited and wants to jump right in. We took him to the YMCA to swim right after we picked him up at daycare today. Was he ever excited to be going swimming once we told him.... Below are a few pictures mommy got. Great Speech Session

Edward had a great speech session tonight. He continues to amaze us every time. This time we asked him a question and he said "I don't know", which was an actual appropriate response. He also started to identify action verbs in pictures. (That is the focus with him now, learning action verbs, since he knows almost what everything is, so now we are trying to get him to learn what things do, words...) He is actually learning words fast, he knows holds, plays and a few others. He is going to great. He even said tonight, " Wow, I make square" Well sort of... See picture below... He seemed very excited about it!!!

Mommy I buy this one

Melissa took Edward to Barnes and Noble tonight while I was at choir practice at church. Melissa went to get one book for school, but Edward had a different idea. While mommy was looking at the teacher books, Edward went over to the Melissa and Doug aisle, which was just down a few feet, and grabbed a instrument set and told mommy," I buy this one", then he stuck his had in it and pulled out some instruments. So as you can guess Edward has 11 new instruments, which he loves by the way! Below are a few pictures of the adventure..

Fun with AJ

Tonight we went over to AJ's house for another great BBQ and of course another chance for the boys to play. It is so funny to watch them play.. I had no idea what they were playing but they seemed to know all the rules like they play it at daycare all the time. Edward also, of course. joined AJ on the trampoline and it might take sometime before Edward goes on it, but when he does you can't get him off, well unless AJ gets off then he has to go see where AJ went. Below are a few photos... Notice the one of them watching the TV, it is hard sometimes to figure out which one is Edward, they looks so much alike, from the back...

New and Old

Well Edward discovered the fire truck I bought him awhile ago, it isa duplicate of the one I played with as a kid! He also discovered his old swing set... Well let us just say he is a little too big for it.. See picture below.... His head hits the support bar, he can however swing himself, because he is so big!

Monkey see Monkey Do

Well Edward wants to do whatever daddy does. I was trying on new sneakers and guess who had to start trying some on.. You guessed it Edward, Guess who had to wear there new sneakers out of the store like Daddy... Edward. Guess who had to walk in the mall instead of riding in his wagon.. Edward... AND guess who is the reader at night... You guested it.. Daddy, reading to Edward ONLY DADDY is ALLOWED... Below are a few pictures of the two of us sporting our new shoes....

Hello to old friends

Ok some back ground- 

Melissa's mom use to have a CNA at the nursing home she really liked named Bobby, we even hired him to help take her to Disneyland for Edward's first year anniversary of coming home from the NICU. A few years ago Bobby got married and moved with his wife to Texas, at the time they were expecting a boy to be named Vincent. This was 2 years ago.... Fast forward til today. 

They came to the Antelope Valley recently to see old friends and we made arrangements with them to meet up at the nursing home for a play date with Vincent there son. That way Melissa's mom got to see the two boys play together. It was so cute, whatever one boy did the other one wanted to do. I really think Edward liked being the older one this time as he was able to get Vincent to do what he wanted to do. They got along so well!!! They even gave each other a big hug and high five as we were leaving. Bobby even managed to get a group picture of everyone! See pictures below! 

We Are home

We are home, unpacked and ready to go back to work tomorrow.. Well maybe not ready but well we have to get back to "normal"... Everyone is tired...so goodnight... Edward is great...but tired.

Great Mother's Day 2015

Well we spent another Mother's Day at Legoland California. Melissa says it is our family tradition to go to Legoland every year, and trust me Edward and I are not complaining. We had a fun little long weekend....

Fun day at

Well we had a fun day at the San Deigo zoo. Edward loved all the animals but especially liked riding on the double decker bus around the park. We must of rode the bus for over a hour and we would still be on it if Edward had his way. 

The funniest part of the day is when we were in line to see the panda bears, when we got up to front if the line to see them ( had to wait over a 1/2 a hour) one of the pandas was getting ready to go to sleep and Edward yelled wake up Panda wake up!!!! Very funny, everyone got a good laugh . Photos will be uploaded later to the photo page on edwardday.com
