I am home

I am finally back after a long 2 weeks away for training. I really enjoyed the training but as they say in the Wizard of OZ, there is no place like home!!!!

Sad to Say Goodbye

We were sad to say goodbye to Aunt Bette & Uncle David today. It was so nice to have them here for a visit. Edward had a fun play date today with Lilly! They played Little People, trains, kitchen, play dough, water table, swimming pool, sidewalk chalk paint & drew pictures with markers!

Busy & Fun

We have been having a lot of fun with our Northern NY family visitors! On Monday we had a big shopping day of SAMs Club, Kohls, Office Depot & the AV Mall! Left the house at 9:25 and returned home at 9:25! Edward and I came home for a 4 hour break which included a 2 hour nap! Aunt Bette & Uncle David were the 12 hour champion shoppers! On Tuesday they took Grandma to the mall. On Tuesday night we went to a Jet Hawks baseball game. We even ran in the Fun Run! It is a 90 second run across the baseball field at the bottom of the 7th inning!

Legoland Weekend

We had a great weekend at Legoland! Edward took Aunt Bette and Uncle David to Legoland! We went on all of Edward's favorite rides and explored Mini Land! We also went for a swim at the pool and enjoyed a poolside Lego movie!

Busy Week with Family

On Wednesday we went to Chuck E Cheese with Grandma, Aunt Bette & Uncle David to play & have lunch. Edward had a great time showing & playing all of his favorites! The pictures are on the regular camera so they will be uploaded later. I did get one on the way home of my sleepy head! I also got a Barnes and Noble picture of Edward on Wednesday night. On Thursday we went to Dry Town water park. We had  a great time cooling off in the lazy river & once again the pictures are on the regular camera! I did get a cute frozen custard picture of Edward at the farmer's market Thursday night!

Aunt Bette & Uncle David Have Arrived

Aunt Bette and Uncle David have safely arrived in Lancaster! Despite being tired, we went out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant and played out back when we got home. We are looking forward to many days of fun activities during their visit!

Looking So Grown Up

Watching Caillou while sitting in my Cat in the Hat chair! Mommy bought this chair for Edward before he was born! He looks so grown up sitting in it tonight. Our baby is a little boy now!

Rain! Rain? Rain!

We had a down pour of rain for most of the day today! We also had thunder and lightning throughout the day today. We really needed this rain. Edward had a great time playing out in the rain and in his rainwater filled water tables! We also ate lunch out on the patio today so that we could watch the rain while we ate!

Play Date with Dillon

Yesterday we went to Canyon Country and had a swim date with Dillon! We had such a great time that my Daddy did not even take one picture! Can you believe it?!?! Only 3 more days until Aunt Bette and Uncle David arrive in Lancaster! We are getting very excited!

Late Movie Night & Busy Day Today

Last night Edward fell asleep watching Annie! He lasted until 10:05! Good thing that we are still on vacation and he could sleep in this morning. Today, Edward has been wearing underwear and sitting on the potty. Mommy is a genius! She pulled Edward's iPad 3 1/2 weeks ago and is now giving back to him to sit on the potty. It is working as he now sits on the potty without complaining. Fingers are crossed for potty training luck! A little painting today too!

Baking with Mommy

On Tuesday, Edward and Mommy mixed up some cookies! Edward was a great little helper. He poured all of the ingredients into the mixing bowel. He really loved the Kitchen Aid tabletop mixer. He kept saying, "Faster Mommy!" He had his little nose pressed against the mixing bowl shield watching it spin! Mommy was so happy that Edward proudly and excitedly wore his Curious George fire truck baking apron. She bought it for him at his very first Poppy Festival years ago in hopes of him one day being Mommy's Little Baking Buddy!

Wii

Well today we got out our wii to see if Edward would like to play the Toy Story Arcade game, and well if you look below you can see the answer to that question. 

Edward's new ride

Well Edward got his graduation from OT/birthday present early today. We were not planning on getting it today but when we saw him hop in it take off in Toys R Us. We just had to get it. He just loves his new car!!!! See the pictures below! 

FYI- the car is not battery or pedal powered. It is feet powered! 

Fun play date with AJ

Edward had a great time with his buddy AJ. He had a play date at AJs house and boy did they ever have fun! As soon as Edward got there him and AJ went running outside to go jumping in the trampoline , and then the fun just continued from there! See the pictures below of a fun play date!

A Fun Play Date with Lilly

Edward had a great time today playing with his friend, Lilly. She drove him around in her Frozen Power Wheels jeep! He absolutely loved it! After lunch she came to his house to play and even stayed for dinner! Thank you for a great day Lilly! Mommy and Daddy were so happy to not have to push the Fisher Price lawn mower around the yard tonight!

OT- we are out of here

Tonight we got great news! Edward is graduating from OT!!! After almost 3 years of OT WE ARE DONE! That only leaves Edward with speech which we except to keep for now. It is hard to believe how far he has come and that he is turning 4 soon. Speaking of that I have created a Trailer #2 for Edward year 4! Click the link below to view the trailer!!!

I want my Cheese Puffs

After a anniversary trip to Chuck E Cheese (Yes we spent our 13th wedding anniversary with Edward at Chuck E Cheese and we loved every minute of it!), we went shopping for some groceries at Target. When Edward went down the snack aisle he saw a HUGE container of Cheese balls and took them off the shelf and walked around Target begging for us to open them. We keep saying one more minute! Below are a few pictures of Edward carrying his caught around Target!!!

WEB SITE UPDATE! I will be adding the July 2015 photo album to the web site tomorrow night and will also be uploading some additional pictures to the June 20145 photo album I failed to upload, so be sure to check them out. I will also we uploading Trailer # 2 for the up coming blockbuster Edward year 4. I was not happy with the first trailer so I am working on improving it and hope to have it uploaded to the website and youtube soon. Also in 2 weeks I will be attending 2 weeks of STEM training for a class I will be teaching next year (STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). Melissa will be taking over the Blog for those 2 weeks, so you will probably see less typos and grammar mistakes... Melissa will take over the Blog From July 19th to July 31st.

Fun day playing train

We had a very fun day playing Thomas the Train with Edward. Thanks to friends from high school , Edward has almost every Thomas set! So we spend the day playing with them and making the track bigger and bigger and bigger. I am not sure who had more fun Edward or daddy! Below are a few pictures and the last one is the finished track system for now! Still want to add to it but we are running out of living room space! 

Daycare for a day

Well today our house turned into Day's daycare for a day. AJ's mom had no one to watch him or his little brother today so we volunteered to watch them so his parent's did have to take the day off. So for everyone who has said our backyard looks like a daycare center, well it was for one day. Edward also had a preplanned play date with his friend Lily so she and her mom came over too. The more the merry. Below you will see a few pictures of all the kids having a ball!!! What fun we all had, but are we ever tired!!! 

Front Row "Edward"

Well we decided to change the living room around a little so Edward could play and look out the front window. So with the couch being so far away, which was Edward front row seat, he took matters into his own hands and made another "front row seat". See picture below. Of course this would not be necessary if he would only wear his glasses!!!
