Ronald Reagan Library Visit

Today we took Edward to the Ronald Reagan Presidential library in Simi Valley, about 70 miles from our house. He loved it, especially Marine one, the presidential helicopter. He have some really good pictures we bought of the 3 of us going into Air Force one and Marine one. I will upload those pictures tomorrow. Great Xmas

We had such a great xmas. Edward just loved all his presents, especially the slot car set he got... He must have played with it for 5 plus hours today, always making sure his car was the winner. Preparing fro Xmas

Well Edward is so ready for Santa's visit. He still says he is going to leave Santa 100 cookies to eat.... Boy hope Santa has a big appetite... Sorry for the late of updates this week, my body thought it would be fun to start winter break by getting really sick. it is beginning to look like xmas

Well we finally got the outside lights up at our house and guess what we have in our yard his year? A minion.. Well not just any minion, a 9 foot tall minion!!!! Edward loves it, as he loves all the movies with the minions... Below are some pictures of our almost finished outside, we have one more thing to add but it has not arrived yet, so stand by.

Edward's xmas program

Edward had his xmas program at his school this AM. He did so great. He also does Leap for Fun at his school, which is gymnastics  and dancing. He really loves it... Baking Cookies

Well if you didn't know, our oven stop working on Thanksgiving day, so Melissa went and got us one on Black Friday. Well the oven finally arrived and was installed on Saturday and Melissa and her cookie helper, Edward, went right to work making xmas cookies!!! Happy Birthday

We celebrated edward's 5th adjusted Birthday on Friday... We took Edward to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate, and my kids at Robotics even sang Edward happy birthday when he stopped by to say hi. We can't believe that it has been 5 years since we said goodbye to the NICU.

The End of another Month

Well today marks the end of another month, oh how 2016 as flown by. I am very sorry for the lack of u[dates recently to both this blog and edward day.com. I will be updating the website this weekend with all new content, including a movie of the week spent with Edward and his cousins. Cousins Cousins everywhere

Edward has loved having his cousins here for a visit. He follows them around and plays everything with them. It is so nice to see Edward playing with kids his own age and to mom and dad. Don't get me wrong, we love to play with him but don't understand "kid language" like his cousins do. It is going to be so sad to say goodbye to them today, and I am sure Edward will be looking for them all over the house for the next few days. Below are a few pictures of the fun they had on Thanksgiving.. In the next few days I will be posting a link to a photo album that has all the pictures of Edward and his cousins from there entire visit.

Fun With Cousins

Edward is having lots of fun with his Cousins. Yesterday he took Sadie to the park to play and she showed him how to go down the slide on his stomach. He also invited both Abby and Sadie to spend the night, they had lots of fun while the four of us (Melissa and I and her Brother and sister in Law) went on a date. We got our baby sitter to sit for us. The kids were really good but the girls decided to go home with mom and dad when we got back instead of spending the night. Edward is suppose to spend the night with them tonight, so we will see how it goes... Below are a few pictures of the fun.. Check out the Thomas train Grandma got Edward as an early Xmas present.... It takes up our whole living room!!!

Cousins have arrived

Edward's cousins froom PA have arrived safely for  funn packed week. Edward loves having others kids to play with, especially one his own age, his cousin Sadie is just one year older than him. Third Movie

We took Edward to his third movie today, previously we took him to see Inside Out and Paddington Bear. Today we took him to see Trolls. We took him to the Blvd Cinema where all the sits are love seat recliners. He just loved the movie and even made him self at home by laying on his belly on the love seat to watch the movie. Oh he also ate an entire pizza too.... Below are a few selfies of the 3 of us just before the movie began.

Trick or Treat

Trick or Treat .... That is what Edward loved to say not only on halloween but also the day after.. He told me he actually told me I had to call mom so he could say Treat or Treat, so we did... It was so funny!!!! Below is a picture of edward all dressed up for Halloween, we actually took him trick or treating at a local church instead of going around any neighborhood....
