Fun day

Edward had a fun play date on Saturday with Christa. He loves to play with over kids. He makes us so happy and sad at the same time as you can imagine. Below are some pictures from the fun day .

For the annual Winterball. He seemed to enjoy himself but was scared of all the big kids and tends to be shy around a lot of people, I guess he gets that from his dad.... Below are a few pictures 

Fun morning

Well we had a boys only morning as Melissa had to leave early to goto school in order to prepare for a sub ( she got jury today but her case was dismissed ). 

So Edward and I had fun dressing and watching our morning episode of Caulliou  before heading off to school, below is a picture of Edward getting ready to have fun on the way to school with dad!

Edward and his potato

Edward told Melissa on Tuesday morning he wanted a potato, so she took him to get one and he ate the whole thing on his way to daycare. Now if you are unsure what he meant by a potato at 7 in the morning, let me tell you.... He wanted a hash brown from McDonalds.... See photos below. 

Alittle too big and too small

Well today Edward decided to walk around the house in my shoes and well he is skittle too small for them, but that didn't stop him. 

Later in the day Melissa took Edward over to see grandma Campbell and Edward wanted to ride in his red stroller, well she quickly discovered he is skittle too big for it, as his feet hit the ground! 

Oh on a side note Edward was cheering for the Orange team today during the first football game, sorry all you New England fans, Edward likes the color Orange over white! 

Fun Playdate

Well today Edward had a successful playdate with his NICU buddy AJ. They played for a long time each other ,inside  and out (Sorry East Coast Friends and Family but the temp here today was in the 60s. Below are a few pictures of the playdate.. It was so great to watch them play but also sad, as it makes me like of Edward's brother and all the fun they would of had together.

Funny story

Edward is a talker in his sleep. Gets that from his mom. This morning we could hear him saying, "I want to goto grandmas" over and over again while he was sleeping. I guess he really wants to goto grandmas! 

Cats, ride to grandmas, fun weekend

Well our 3 day weekend is over but what fun we had. We took Edward up to the Feline compound in Rosemond (A small zoo with only cats). He just loved it, he walked around saying, " I want to see Kariya", Kariya is the name of his cat. There are a few cats that look like Kariya just much bigger ! 

After that we came home and later Edward rode his bike all the way over to see grandma Campbell in the nursing home. He even rode down the hallways inside, all the people said he was so cute. He really seemed to put a smile on a lot of the patients faces which made us feel good.

Hat and old car

Well Edward rediscovered his toddler powerwheel (the red car), and decided he needed to wear his hat backwards to drive it. Very funny to watch him. He actually wanted to wear his Thomas winter hat but since we are having some warm weather, temp in high 60s, he settled on a baseball hat. I remember I always use to wear hats when I was his age..... 

Pizza

Guess who helped mommy make pizza tonight? Edward is the answer of course! We even discovered that he likes pepperoni Pizza, well he actually liked the pepperoni more by itself then on the pizza. He must have eaten like 10+ pieces of just pepperoni before the pizza was ready!

Puzzles, puzzles everywhere

Tonight while I was a choir practice , Edward and Melissa got out the puzzles! Below is their work. Edward can put together all the abc puzzles by himself and even some regular ones. He likes to race you . He makes you put together a 1-10 train puzzle while he puts the abc train together and he can actually beat you , well he can beat me and I actually try to win!

First,Edward did not want to go back to school today, he cried at pick up but by the time we picked him up he did not want to go home. Below is the crying morning picture.

Great Family vacation

We had a great family vacation in Carlsbad CA. We left on Monday and just returned home today. We went to Legoland twice, the aquarium at Legoland once and Disneyland once. Edward had so much fun. We even got our picture taken with Mickey. Edward gave him a bog hug and had the biggest smile on his face. Below are a few photos of the trip. You can view all the photos at the link below. Another fun day at Legoland

We had a fun, 2nd day at Legoland. This time it did rain again but not for long. Edward was so excited to be back. I counted and this was Edward's 12th visit to a Legoland, 11 in CA and once to the  Legoland in Florida. Rain shall not stop us

Well we have arrived at our family vacation spot #1. See pictures below. We actually came down on Monday so we could have one good day at Lego Land, since the weather for Thursday looks 50/50 in terms of rain. The good news is the parks was empty on Monday, we just walked up and got on any ride, the bad news is we had to endure a 30 mins down poor that started as soon as we got on fairly tale brook, a boat ride and we and not jackets with us, will Edward had his but Melissa and I got very very wet!! Oh well, Tomorrow we are off to the aquarium at Legoland, since it is suppose to rain tomorrow and Legoland is closed, at least the aquarium is all inside....

Oh notice the ABCs we made out of Legos, it took us a hour to do it and Edward helped too!!!

Out for a drive

Finally we got a break in our very cold and windy weather so Edward could go out cruising in his new blue power wheels car. He just loves driving it and is really good about steering. Below is a picture.
