Another trip to C & C

Well we took Edward tonChucknE Cheese tonight just because. He was so excited!!! His favorite game to play was this ball clown game were you throw balls and try and knock down clowns, like a carnival game. I am not really good at it but Edward can beat me at it and I am actually tiring!!! He also loves to play air hockey and yes he is good at that too, believe it or not! Below are a few puctures. Another fun day at the park

Well we had another fun day at the park with Edward on Saturday. Edward even made a new friend names Elijah. The 2 of them chased each other around and went up and down the slide about 50 or more times. It was so fun to watch Edward playing with someone since we never get to see him at Daycare playing with kids. Below are a few pictures of Edward up on the slide platform before he started playing with Elijah. Sorry for the inconsistent updates to the blog, I am trying to get back on a daily update schedule soon. Please bare with me, I have not given up in the blog, as it is a written "book " for Edward of his childhood.

Edward went to a birthday party over the weekend and they had a bounce house, he ran right in when he saw it and won't get out.... See a few pictures of Edward jumping!!!

ABCs and Star Wars

Well Edward freaked us out about 2 weeks ago when he said his ABCs and did the sign language for each letter too! They teach this at in his daycare class. I finally got a video of him doing it, see link below. 

I also decided to take Edward with me to see Star Wars again, I have already seen it but wanted to share it with him. Well during the movie their is this scene where Hans Solo says, "We are home", Edward decided it was also time to go home so he yells time to go home, so we left. As we walked out he said , we did it we saw Star Wars! I think he thought it was over! Oh well I love the fact I was able to share something with me I have loved since I was a kid!

Guest at Daycare

Edward decided to bring a friend with him to school on Friday. He got so excited when his teacher got a chair so it could sit right next to him ! See pictures below 

Edward did it

Tonight we were playing Thomas with Edward on his train table, and Melissa was moving it away from the wall so Edward could walk around it. In the process of doing this she found some old Honey Combs. She asked Edward who put them there and Edward said, "Edward did it", well at least he was honest, now if we could only get him to pick up inside like he picks up outside !!

It figures

We bought a new power wheel for Edward for Xmas and guess what. He would rather use his old toddler one, however he is getting a little bit for it. See it for yourself .

Funny and scary moment

Well yesterday was quite a roller coaster ride for us. In the morning we got invited to Edward's Valentine's Day party . We loved seeing Edward with his class. It makes us wish we could go into Edward's room and volunteer more....

Then last night we took Edward to his 3rd hockey game in Ontario CA, the Kings and Ducks both have their AHL team on the west coast ( one step below the NHL). Edward just loved the game and all the action. Now to the scary part, about 1/2 half through the game Edward decided to switch seats and go from my lap to our friends lap , Hank. About 5 mins later a puck came flying into the stands and glanced off a girl's head in front of Hank and hit him right in the face/nose area, missing Edward's head by just literally a hair. Below is a photo of Edward and and Hank. This picture was taken about 2 mins before hank got hit!!!
 If you look you can see that  Edward's head is above where Hank got hit, so we are not sure how the puck didn't hit Edward too????!!!!! 

Thanks Hank again for protecting Edward..

Clean up daddy

On Tuesday after school the weather was so nice, Edward and I went out back so he could play. However instead of playing he want to clean up the patio area, see pictures below. I just hope he keeps wanted to clean when he gets older. 

Website update: sorry for the delay in updating the web site to contain Feb 2016 photos. It will get done on Friday and a new photo album and new pictures will appear by tomorrow. We have been very busy!

Fun Sunday

Edward had a very fun Sunday! In the am we played trains, puzzles and people while Melissa was doing BTSA. In the pm after his nap we went to his buddy Luje's house to watch the Super Bowl. Edward and Luje didn't do a lot of watching but did a lot of playing. Edward loved it so much as he left he said, " I had fun I want to come back soon!" 

Oh Edward got to be cowrie be snow for the second time I bus life tanks to Luke's new snow making machine!

Busy day

We had a fun and busy day. 1st we shopped for groceries and Iris's birthday present, then we came home unloaded the groceries wrapped Iris's present and off we were to Iris's birthday at a place called my gym . Edward didn't like it at first put warmed up and didn't want to leave. Then we came home and had a play date with Dillion while his parents got there taxes done.... And finally it is bed time, below are a few pictures from our very busy day. 

Valentine cookies with mommy / pinewood derby

Edward started to help mommy tonight make the Valentine's Day cookies, we'll get ready to make them. Edward's buddy Dillion is coming over on Saturday to make cookies so Edward and mommy are making the dough to get ready for Sarurday, see pictures below. 

On a side note, we went to Michaels Craft store to get some stuff to make a special treat for Edward's class and while I was there saw a whole rack of different pinewood derby cars. (Pinewood derby is a race you do in cub scouts). I remember it but back then their was only one kit but now their are like 12, see picture I took... My dad use to take my car to his friends to get shaped like a Indy car but now they come like that, I guess we won't have to mail Edward's pinewood derby car to Florida... 

Edward the dancing machine

You give Edward music and he becomes a dancing machine. He has some great moves... I need to get another video of him, he must work on his style at school...

Cold Cold Sunday

We thought we might get a fair amount of snow on Sunday night, but the snow decided to pass us and hit Palmdale instead. Sunday was a cold cold day, yes even I am saying it was cold, I must be getting soft in my old age. We spend the day inside with Edward with a quick trip to the grocery store to get stuff just in case of snow or anything else we might get. (Their was a tornado warning for Lancaster yesterday day as well). Edward loves to grocery shop but he loves eating the yellow Lays chips even better. He took the whole bag and starting eating them on the way home, well until he fell asleep, see picture below.
