In Stockholm NY

We have arrived in the North Country! We actually got there yesterday. Today we went to Clarkson and State and had lots of fun! I am working on creating a photo album on his web site with all our vacation photos, look for it soon. Below are a few photos from today. 

Fun time in Sloansville

Took Edward to the baseball hall of fame in Cooperstown NY, which is only about 30 miles from where I grew up. He was so excited to see all the baseball stuff and we even found a baseball game to watch at Double Day field!!!! I took lots of pictures and will upload them to the web site soon! Fun time in Detroit

We had just after time with aunt Sandy and uncle Davud. It was so nice for Edward to meet family that have never meet before. Edward also got to meet his cousin Bob and see lots of things. Thank you so much Oaks family for such a great visit! In to Albany we go!

Ready or not here comes the Day family East coast!!!! Look for full coverage of our journey tonight on this blog. We leave at 11:40pm PT and land around 7am ET in Detroit! Fun days, the count down to the East coast

Well we are tee minus 2 days til the Day Family hits the road for the East coast. We have spent the last few days relaxing and preparing for our cross country trip! 

Today we spent time outside in the morning until it got too hot. We got out Edward's water table and couldn't believe how much he has grown. Below are 2 pictures, one taken today and another taken 2 years ago. See for yourself how much he has grown!

Great mini Vacation

We just got back from our "mini"vacation to Las Vegas to see Melissa's brother who was there on business and to celebrate the end of school! We did so many things while we were there: We visited a kids science museum, went in the high roller ferris wheel that Edward loved!, we visited the M & M store and saw the M &M Nascar, went to an aquarium and had lunch with Dr. Lipsky, the NICU doctor that was on duty when Edward and William were born and was there the day William passes away. As you can imagine we have quite a bond with her, and she recently moved to Las Vegas and is working in a NICU there. We are so excited and can't wait to start our "MEGA" vacation!

Another emotional day

On Thursday Edward said goodbye to Sonshine factory daycare. After 4 years he is leaving to begin TK in August at a private school. Edward got a personal

All About William today

Sorry to take a day off in the blog about Edward, but as today was the last day of school I got a chance to once again give out the William Kenneth Day award for Excellence in Geometry. I have given this award out for the past 5 years, and the kids really try hard to win it as they know how much it means to me. This year the Award went to a student by the name of Jessica Mendoza. Below is a picture of me with this year's winner.
William's name also came up today during one of my kids speeches. The teachers pick the kids to give the opening and main address speeches. As I have the best students in the 8th grade, many of kids are picked every year to give them. Today one of my students was thanking me for caring and pushing her to be her best for the past 2 years, I have the kids for 2 years in advanced Math, and at the end of the speech she  said, " How William and Edward were so lucky to have me as a dad". I lost it and started to cry.

Big Boy Edward

We couldn't believe Edward sat in the chair all by himself for his haircut. Look at the picture below.. He is a big boy!!! Where did the little boy go?

Singing at church

Edward decided to try and sing along with me in church today. He even got a book to follow along. It was so cute! You could actually hear him trying !!!

Soccer over until August

Well Edward had his 1st soccer game today. I got a few videos of the games. I didn't tape the whole game due to the fact that Edward's team dominated the play and he wanted to only play goalie. Last Soccer Practice, 4 days to go

Edward had his last soccer practice today, and he did so great. He sure is coming out of hi soccer shell. On Saturday Edward will have his last game. I am planning on video taping the whole game and uploading it to his you tube channel. Many family members have been asking to see more video of Edward playing soccer. So I am going to tape the whole game and people can watch what they want..
On another note, we have 4 days left. Sorry the web site has not been updated in awhile. I am planning a major update for after school is out, so please hang in there.
