Fun Week

We had a fun week with Edward. On Tuesday we went to a JeyHawks season ticket celebration. We watched game one of the World Series and Edward bowled for the 1st time.. Check out a few photos below and I have uploaded a few videos of him bowling to his youtube channel. Click the link below. On Thursday we took Edward to another Pumpkin patch, a local one. Edward rode a few rides with mommy, went down the slide with me and played a few games. Below are a few pictures and a link to another video. Pumpkin Liner

First, sorry for the lack of updates to this blog or edwardday.com. The blogger app no longer is supported by iOS so I am trying to find another way to blog other than having to get the computer out every night... Now onto an update

Since  I last blogged a lot has been going on. This week we went to LA Children's Hospital for a check up On Edward's hearing and hearing and aids and found out that his Hearing Aids were not set probably, so the hearing doctor set them to the right setting and she is really hopefully that we should start to see even a bigger difference in his talking and hearing. One thing we have seen right away is that Edward seems to not want to take them off at night, I guess since they are now giving him more sounds he want to hear everything. The doctor told us the way they were set, they were basically acting as an ear plug... We are so grateful they caught this. She said the reason they were off is the vendors of the hearing aids rely on a reprogrammed set of data to set them and the program is not always right, and in this case was way off....

In other news, we went to the Fillmore Pumpkin Liner again on Saturday. The Pumpkin liner is one of the only things we have always done as a family since he was one. This was the 5th time Edward has gone on the train, and as you probably already know, he loves trains!!!!! If you goto Edwardday..com and click on photos and click on Oct 2016 , you will see all the photos form yesterday along with all the photos so far from October 2016, including Edward ice skating, Edward and mommy playing not on the playground at LA Children's hospital, and several other photos of the fun we have had so far in October, including our yearly Legoland trip for Halloween.   I will continue to blog on this blog bi daily until I can find away around this blogger issue I am having. Having fun at Legoland

We are having a blast at Legoland. This is the first time we have gone on vacation with edward and have not brought the stroller, but he could care less.. He is just walking everywhere and is having so much fun.... He is so excited that we are going back to Legoland for a third straight day tomorrow. One of my friends I met while at STEM training is on vacation with his family and is meeting us a Legoland tomorrow. I have not seen him in over a year so it will be nice to caught up and let the kids play together a little before we head off to Lancaster. Below are a few pictures of our "mini" Legoland vacation.

Oh and to make the weekend even better, the Robotics team I co coach at my new school had a robotics competition this past weekend and they won it, and have now qualified for the California VEX Robotics STATE finals in early 2017... First time ever, the team existed for the past 5 years at another school that merged into my new school!!!! I am so proud and wish I could have been there!

Fun past weekend

We had so much fun last weekend with Edward. We took him ice skating and did he ever love it, and I am not just saying that.. He actually did not want to leave!!!! He even got mad as us when we didn't go back on Sunday. Maybe Edward is a Hockey and Baseball player. I guess he can do both since they occur during different seasons. We have a big weekend ahead as we are headed back to Legoland for there annual "Brick or Treat" celebration!!! It is Lego's version of Halloween... I hope to blog about it from Legoland.. So stay tuned!!!
