Christmas is here!

Well, Christmas has arrived at Edward's house.. He got everything he wanted from Santa! Check out the photo page for all the photos of Edward opening his presents. Visit in LA

We are down in LA for Edward’s 6 month check up on his earring aids. Everything going great! Look at what we found outside in the play grounds at Chikdren’s Hospital of LA..

Website Updated

Sorry for the lack of updates on this blog or edwardday.com. I have finally updated the website with a photo album of the pictures of December 2017 and have uploaded all the other pictures of November 2017 to the November 2017 photo album. 

You will see pictures of new cats in the photo album. Well, Santa brought Edward 2 baby kittens early, Percy and Thomas. Edward loves them so much!!!! Happy Thanksgiving... Santa is coming

Happy thanksgiving from the day family. We are thankful for all the love and support everyone has always given us. Yesterday we took Edward to see santa before it got too crazy. He asked Santa for Pie Face Show Down, some board game he really wants. Santa said yes, so he is so excited!!!! Below is a picture of Edward with Santa!!!! Happy Thanksgiving again to everyone 

Sorry, MAJOR UPDATE and News

Well, it has been almost a month since I last updated this blog. Sorry for the lack of updates. Apple and the iphone has made it difficult to write in this blog since the old app for the blog is no longer available on the iphone.
Anyway, to update you on Edward. He is doing great, he recently gave a presentation in front of his class about his Google slides he made, his teacher recorded it and sent it to us, below is the link for that.

Fun weekend in Bakersfield

We had a fun weekend this weekend in Bakersfield. We weee up there for a robotics tournament, Melissa and Edward came along to cheer for us. After the competition on Saturday we took Edward to his 4tg hockey game ever and he loved it. He was so excited to see that Bakersfield had a number 17. Edward thinks everyone he sees wearing number 17 is Jamie Richtie, a Jethawks player 2 Year’s ago that is still Edward’s favorite player. Below are a few photos from the fun this weekend 

Carving with grandma

Edward carved his two pumpkins this weekend with his grandma Campbell. He made the first one, Ironman and the second one, just a traditional pumpkin. He was so excited to do it. He is growing up so fast we can't believe everything he can just do. He knows how to log into his account on his computer and use the trackpad to pick out the educational game he wants to play. He can write his name really well and knows all his letters and sounds, can count to 120. Melissa and I meet with his teacher and he is one of the smartest if not the smartest kids in his class! We are so proud of him and how far he has come. We still have a ways to go, but GO EDWARD!

Fun Weekend

We had such a fun weekend, Saturday we took Edward to Home Depot for the monthly kids' clinic they run, this month Edward got to put together a penny bank, he did so great, and he did most of the work, he even seemed to get the hang of hammering...  After that we took Edward to the pumpkin liner in Fillmore CA, this has become a family tradition every year. Edward has one on the pumpkin liner for 5 straight years, the only time he did not go was when he was first born and spent that Halloween in the NICU. Student of the Month, Fun at Brick or Treat

Lunch on the lawn

Well on Tuesday I got to be a parent for a little while at Edward’s school. At his school they have lunch on the lawn twice a year and on Tuesday was the first time this year. Lunch on the lawn is a chance for parents to come to school during lunch and eat with their child on the grass outside. Edward wa so excited Ted to have both his mom and his dad there with him, thankfully my prep and lunch are back to back this year and mine up with the time lunch on the lawn happens! It feels so good to be able to do something at his school like a normal parent. Below is a picture of us at lunch on the lawn!

Baseball is over

Well baseball season is finally over.... The Jethawks lost in 11 innings, Edward and mommy left early because of school but I decided to stay for the final game and get some video for Edward of the game so he will have something to watch for the next 6 months.... below is a picture I took of us at the last game. I don't know who is going to miss baseball more... Edward or daddy. I just love how much he loves it....

End of baseball

Well today ends the regular season for the Jethawks. Some little boy is going to be sad to see the regular season come to an end. We still have at least 2 more home games.... but we will see as Edward would say. Tough day

We had a tough day on Friday as we remembered William. I will never understand why William was taken from us so early and why this happened to us. It breaks my heart to think about all the joy and fun Edward and William would of had together!!!! August 25th seems to be getting harder not easier every year...... we love you William our angel for all of time. 

Doing homework

Edward got his first homework assignment tonight and loved sitting at his new desk and doing his homework. Thanks again auntie for the great gift!!!! He loves it. Check out the picture that Melissa took tonight while he was doing his homework 

Fun at the fair and eclipse

We had a fun time at the fair this weekend. Edward went on every kid ride and played a few games. Edward even went and checked out the animals at the large animal area. He had such a great time! Lots going on this week, I have back to school night tomorrow and the Jethawks come home for 3 quick games on Tuesday- Thursday before they head out again.Edward is so excited about baseball returning. It will be their first home game since his birthday party! 

Enjoying school

Edward is sure enjoying school so far... He has made lots of friends and loves his teacher. He has a lunch date with her everyday....

Edward also had back to school night tonight. He loved seeing mommy on the stage being introduced as a 1st grade teacher and he loved seeing his teacher up there. It was so strange being in the other side of things. It was so amazing to listen to his teacher taught about how much she loves all her kids! We are so blessed to have her as his teacher. Below is a picture she took a few days ago during their lunch date! 

Year 6

Where did 6 years go? I can't believe that 6 years ago Melissa gave birth to Edward and William. Time is going way too fast, before you know it Edward will be graduating from high school! It is a sad and happy day for us, as we celebrate Edward and remember William...

Birthday party a huge success....

Edward's baseball birthday party was a huge success!!!! He loved having all his buddies with him at the game, and he did such a great job throwing out the 1st pitch!!! Kindergarten is a success

Edward loves his teacher and class.. He really loves the fact that he sees his mommy in the hallway all the time... He also loves his teacher, our really good friend Ghadi Moreno. She has known us since before the boys and was there for all the ups and downs and know loves having her little baby in class. I think it has really helped Edward too, knowing his teacher. He actually thanks, God every night for, hot wheels, baseball, soccer, grandmas, mommy and daddy and his teacher.... It is so sweet.... Below are a few pictures that his teacher sent us today... First day of Kindergarten

I am not sure who cried more, Edward, his teacher, or his parents... Is was so emotional watching our little boy start kindergarten... I didn't think I would cry but I was balling.... Edward found a friend who came over to him and gave him a big hug, she liked his Jethawks lunch box, her mom works for the Jet Hawks... Dentist , getting ready for school

Well we took Edward to the Dentist on Friday and he did great! He even let the dentist take X-rays for the first time ever!!!! 

Then on Saturday we put together Edwards school desk we got for our house so he has a place to do his work!!! He loves his little spot in the kitchen!!! Helping mommy

Edward went to school with Melissa on Thursday, our first official day back to hang out and help. Edward takes the field

Well, tonight Edward got to go on the field at the Hanger, home of the Jethawks. Not the throw out the first pitch but to watch a special announcement by the Jethawks and then to watch batting practice. He was so excited to be on the field!!!! The big announcement, by the way, was that the Jethwaks will be hosting the All Star game for the California league in 2018.... Back to normal

Well we are slowly getting back to normal, all our vacations are over and once again the school year is  here!!! Melissa and I work hard to get ready while Edward is jumping out of his skin to get started. He is so excited to be good not to Kindergarten at Melissa's school!!! He is just so excited!!!! 

I know I have said this before but look for daily updates to return to this blog starting now!!! As many big things are coming and I want everyone to share the joy with us! Someone is turning 6 soon!

Fun at Chuck E Cheese

Edward had to go down to Valencia today for his yearly check up with the ENT so after his appointment we meant up with his BF Dillion for some summer fun at Chuck E Chesse!!!! The boys had so much fun together! They earned over 1200 tickets and our currently shopping at the prizes counter!!!! Lots of fun!

Home safe

Well as must of you know we have been home safe and sound for a week or so. Edward had such a great time on his trip through NY! Sorry for the lack of posts to this blog, had a major isssue that I just figured out so I will. Ontinie daiky blog posts from here on... look for the trailer to Edward year 6 early this week. I will of course post on this. Log all the details to watch the trailer. 

Out here in CA, it has been a hot 106 that is hot!!! We have. Even unable to play much outside so we took Edward to see the new Minions movie, he already saw it once with his cousins in NY but was happy to see it again.... I wish this heat would leave so we could actually go outside again. Until then, we are trapped inside playing hot wheels and watching Curious George goes to school!!! 

Sunny finally

We have finally gotten some sunshine in NY. So we have tried to do as much as possible why we have good weather. Yesterday we took Edward to play mini golf, he calls is score and loves it.. We also took Edward around to see the two colleges in Potsdam.
