Baseball season for Edward is over

Well, unfortunately, baseball season for Edward is over. His team lost to the Yankees 14-13 in a nail-biter. His team, the Angels, were actually down 12-3 at one point in the game but came roaring back to tie it at 13 going into the Yankees last at bat, with 2 outs the Angels pitcher overthrew the catcher and the baserunner the Yankee's had on 3rd went home and he was barely safe.... Well don't take my word for it, below are links to games for you to watch. I videotaped both complete games and did a little play by play so you could tell what the score was and what inning it was in if you skipped ahead.  Enjoy!!!

Wednesday's game vs the Astors that they won 13-5, Edward got on base twice and scored a run!!!

Friday's game vs the Yankees that they lost 14-13, Edward got up just once and stroke out, he actually bats 3rd in the very first inning, then we was subbed out for, as they can only play 9 kids and they have 11 on the team...

Another Update

Edwardday.com has been updated. I have added a photo album for May 2018 and also updated the April 2018 photo album. It has been a very busy month, as Edward's baseball has been keeping us very busy. Edward usually has 2 games a week and at least 2 practices a week. Between his baseball and the Jethawks starting we have rarely been home at night. Edward's baseball is coming to an end as the playoffs start on Wednesday, yes he has playoffs! His team, the Angels finished the season at 8-7-1 , good enough for 4th out of 7 teams. His team plays the 5th seeded team, the Astros on Wednesday and if they lose, the season is over... He as really enjoyed baseball and wants to really be the catcher, however, he can't catch the ball however we are working on it. His coach allowed him to try catcher once at practice and I bought him his own catcher gear so that he can continue to practice. Look for an update on this blog as to how his team does....
