Great Easter weekend

Edward sure had a great time Easter weekend. He was able to meet his relatives from Fresno, some for the first time (Edward did meet his Aunt Bonnie from Fresno in his first few days at the NICU)
Edward sure does love all the attention he gets from everyone. Edward also went back to the NICU on Easter and to see Dr.Lipsky (who was the doctor who was the first to treat Edward at the NICU and was also there the day William passed.)
I guess I never really thought about everything we owe them until one parent of a current baby at the NICU came in the waiting room where we were visiting with the NICU staff and said,"you owe his life to them" and he was right , without Dr. Lipsky, Dr. T and all the great nurses and RT Edward would have never made it. How do you begin repay someone for that?

The Easter bunny is coming

The Day house is preparing for the Easter Bunny, Edward dyed eggs yesterday and he went to sleep tonight dreaming of the Easter bunny coming to town!
Edward overall continues to improve daily, he is sure enjoying all the attention he is getting from his great Aunt and Uncle Waters and cousin Greg Waters. They meet Edward for the 1st time this weekend (well aunt Bonnie Waters did get to see Edward in the NICU when he was under 2 pounds ) but that was a longtime ago!

Great day

Edward had another great day, today his great aunt and uncle Waters arrived to spent time with us for Easter. Edward sure does love all the attention he gets from everyone.
Oh great news today, Edward finally turned over. He was doing tummy time and all of a sudden he decided to rollover!!! We were all shocked!!!

Well Edward continues to do great! His therapist can't believe how quickly he catches onto stuff. He is a very smart little boy ! One more say before I get a 3 day weekend!! Hurray!!!!

Good day for Edward but not for me

Edward had another great day, he is now eating 180 ml of formula every 3 hours and eating food 3 times a day. Boy does he every like to eat and sleep, he must get it more his dad.
Well for me, I am not doing well at all, I think the ceremony on Saturday made Williams's death very real for me. Why did he have to die? Why did god take him so soon? Why?

Edward gains more weight

Well Edward had another check up with his doctor today and his new weight is.... 13lbs 13oz!!! Way to go little buddy!!!
Melissa said the doctor was very pleased about everything, which is great news.
It is hard to believe that Edward has been home with us for 5 months today! Boy does time ever fly, he came home on December 2nd, he has actually been home with us longer than he spent at the NICU!

Another weekend in the books

Well another weekend gone. I sure love the weekends as I get to spent quality time with Edward and Melissa.
At least this coming week I only have to teach for 4 days, I have Friday off!! Hurray!!!
Off to bed!!!
