Here we go again

Ok here we go again, Edward is sick again, first he had a fever last night and then he has pink eye now we think. I will be taking another day off from school to take him to see his doctor. Hopefully we can get back to normal health soon with Edward, as the holidays are not too far away..

I hope you enjoyed all the pictures from disneyland. We are hoping to go back for Edward's two year anniversary from leaving the NICU, but it will depend, of course, on how healthy he is. I do think that the hearing test we have scheduled for the Tuesday before Thanksgiving will know have to get moved, due to the health requirements fro it. The test requires Edward to be put to sleep, it is called a ABR hearing test, google it for more details....


Will wish us luck and pray for Edward to get back to "normal" health soon....

Let the Family Vacation begin

Well we have arrived at our final destination, DISNEYLAND.. Go check out Edward's photo page and click on the November 2013 album or just click the link below. Today we went to California Adventure to see if we could find anything for his Car's room. We did find a few small things, but the best thing we found was in a store at Downtown Disney, the store is called, RideMakerz, it is like Build a bear for boys. You pick out your car frame and your tires... and so on.. Well  we made him a Lighting McQueen from Car's. He just loves his new push car, it even makes noise.

Week almost over

Well the week is almost over, Edward is sure ready to go on his special trip this weekend. Make sure you check his website to see where we will be head.. Check out how happy his was that it was THURSDAY.... HURRAY he said.....

New food

Edward discovered a new food tonight. One of my favorites... Lasagna . See picture below . Edward seems to be back to his normal mommy loving self. Whenever he sees mommy, well let's just say that Melissa has gotten use to carrying around an extra 25 pounds. Edward is sure a mommy's boy..... 

Back to "Normal" tomorrow

Well Edward seems like his self again, so back to daycare tomorrow and I will return to work. I sure have enjoyed spending all this time with Edward. Today Edward and I played a lot in the morning, then he took a 3 plus hour nap. Then we ate lunch and went for a 1 mile walk with his red car he loves so much. Oh boy does he ever love his red car. Below you will see of Edward playing out back, He had a ball. Well time to get to bed, an early start tomorrow. Oh stayed tuned to edwardday.com and we take a special, "family trip" this weekend. Edward update

Doing alittle better today. Still running a fever but it goes away quick with medicine. He is out of daycare at least Monday and maybe Tuesday plus more if he does not improve to 100 percent. Oh well no big deal to me, I get to spend lots of quality time with Edward. We have a blast during the day and sure make a mess. Right now Edward is sleeping next to me in his Star Wars pajamas. Thank again Aunt Vhris for the cool PJs. 

Update

Edward doing much better. Infection seems to be gone. We are going to keep him out of daycare on Monday and they hopefully we can get back to "normal " on Tuesday . The doctor did give us a new breathing treatment medicine to try. ( it is suppose to help prevent this from happening, so hopefully we can get through the winter without oxygen!)
