Off to get taxes done and Edward says hi

Well tonight we went to get our taxes done, and Edward got a chance to say hi to our tax lady, who had babies in the NICU in lancaster 29 years ago. Her babies were actually some of the first babies that Dr. Tangaval, the doctor who saved Edward's life, took care of. She was so happy to finally meet Edward, below is a picture of the two of them chatting after our taxes were done..

Great Doctor's visit, updated website

So we went back to Edward's Pediatric doctor today for a follow up to Edward's hospitalization. The doctor said that Edward sounded really clear and told us to continue to do the breathing steroids twice a day until flu season is over (Late March). We are hoping that this will keep us out of the hospital. We were only doing them once prior to the last hospitalization. During the appointment today, Edward discovered that if he stood on the exam table he could play with the doctor's blinds, see picture below.

Great Week, Teeth brushing

Well thanks to Edward's former daycare teacher, who watched Edward Wed-Fri, Edward seems to be back to normal. He just loves all the attention. Mommy even bought Edward a step so that he can watch himself in the mirror brush his teeth.
Tomorrow Edward heads back to daycare, and I am sure he won't like returning, since he has had a lot of 1 on 1 care the past week.

First day back

Well first day back for me at school since the long weekend! It was sad not to spend time with Edward but I only have 4 sick days left :( 

We had Edward's old daycare teacher, Amanda watch him. She is such a great baby sitter and Edward loves her so much. He gues right to her and cries when she leaves. Below is Edward is the tube, Amanda gave him a bath today. 

One Last day together, Bear Hunt

Well Edward and I spent one last day together. What fun we had, we both got so tired we took a nap side by side at 11:30-1:30. We even went on a bear hunt together (The new song that Edward has been learning at daycare). I video taped it, the link to the video is below.
When Mom got home, Edward decided it was time to go shopping with his chart, however the item he put in the chart would be hard to scan or even get a price check.(See picture below) Well I am very tired and back to work tomorrow. Goodnight

We are home

KWell after a long weekend at AV hospital Edward finally is home and on no oxygen. This morning when Edward's doctor came in he said, "I heard you have been running up and down the halls of the hospital (true by the way), and he said I think it is time to go home!!!! So we are home. I made Edward some Mac and cheese and we played a little. Finally we took a nap together since I have not slept  well at all this weekend. Well Edward is still napping, he didn't sleep really well at the hospital either. Thank you to everyone  for your support. 

Roller coaster day.

Well I am writing this so late for reason you will see soon. 

Today has been on crazy day. It all started with Edwarf and I going to the FTC robotic competition across the street. I had former students in the competition. (See picture below)

After that we came home and cleaned a little , because Edward's NICU buddy AJ came for dinner, see picture below of the two of them playing. 

After his two hour play date we cleaned up and got ready for bed only to notice that Edward's breathing did not seem right. So off to the ER we went. Melissa is over there with Edward currently as we are being admitted, I came home to try and get some sleep so I can relieve her in the morning. Edward is doing good considering. He had a cheese puff party in ER and when I left he was having a strawberry star party... On a side note AJ's parents texted us after we told them about Edward and told us that he is sick too..oh no!!!! Below is a picture of "sick Edward" eating cheese puffs at the ER...
