Great day

Edward had another great day, today his great aunt and uncle Waters arrived to spent time with us for Easter. Edward sure does love all the attention he gets from everyone.
Oh great news today, Edward finally turned over. He was doing tummy time and all of a sudden he decided to rollover!!! We were all shocked!!!

Well Edward continues to do great! His therapist can't believe how quickly he catches onto stuff. He is a very smart little boy ! One more say before I get a 3 day weekend!! Hurray!!!!

Good day for Edward but not for me

Edward had another great day, he is now eating 180 ml of formula every 3 hours and eating food 3 times a day. Boy does he every like to eat and sleep, he must get it more his dad.
Well for me, I am not doing well at all, I think the ceremony on Saturday made Williams's death very real for me. Why did he have to die? Why did god take him so soon? Why?

Edward gains more weight

Well Edward had another check up with his doctor today and his new weight is.... 13lbs 13oz!!! Way to go little buddy!!!
Melissa said the doctor was very pleased about everything, which is great news.
It is hard to believe that Edward has been home with us for 5 months today! Boy does time ever fly, he came home on December 2nd, he has actually been home with us longer than he spent at the NICU!

Another weekend in the books

Well another weekend gone. I sure love the weekends as I get to spent quality time with Edward and Melissa.
At least this coming week I only have to teach for 4 days, I have Friday off!! Hurray!!!

Just a quick note

I just want to write a quick note to thank everyone who attended today's ceremony for William. Pastor Jeff did an outstanding job officiating the ceremony, thank you.

Another week gone

Well another week gone, time to spent some quality time with Edward and Melissa.
Tomorrow I may not blog due to the fact that we are having a private ceremony in remembrance of William and all he gave to us in his 10 short days.
Rest in Peace William and know that mommy, daddy and brother will never forget you!
Oh on a happier note, not sure I have mentioned that Melissa and I have decided to create a award in Williams's honor that we will give out each year to a deserving Geometry student at my school. The student will receive 50 dollars, a plaque and there name on a permanent plaque that will remain at my school.
We are calling the award, the William Kenneth Day award for excellence in Geometry, I will present it at promotion each year. Who knows maybe one year Edward can win the award named after his brother.
