One busy day for us

Well the busy day is over!!! First we started at the nursing home, then we headed to the NICU for a visit and finally we headed to Alex's house (Edward's buddy from the NICU) to celebrate his birthday. Down goes the crib

Well this morning when Melissa put Edward in is crib for a second to get something guess who tried to stand up... Yup, Edward, he didn't make it all the way up but that was a big sign to both of us that it is time to lower his crib all the way... So know we are down to the floor almost with the crib, what a difference from we're it us to be....
Tomorrow (Halloween) we gave a very busy day, when I get Edward, we are coming home putting on his costume waiting for mommy, going to the NICU to trick r treat, then going to his buddy's Alex house for his birthday, Alex was also in the NICU with Edward and was born on Halloween. Then at 8pm we are headed back to the NICU to say hi to the night staff and then finally home for cereal and bed.... Oh I am getting tired just thinking about it...

Thought to our family in the north east

Just want to take time in the blog tonight to tell our family members in the northeast that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Hang in there....

Crawling update: Edward continues to crawl a little bit but seems to not be motivated enough to move a lot. I guess it is time to really spread his toys out in the living room and see what happens..

Web site updated

Well the web site has been updated to include the photos from the Boolevard, Edward's life touch photos and photos from Trunk or Treat today after church. So go to edwardday.com and click on the photo in the upper right part of the screen.
What is Trunk or Treat you ask, everyone decorates up there cars after church and the kids go trick or treating from car to car and oh boy did Edward ever make out good!!! Check out the sample photo below. More can be found on Edwardday.com

Crawling update : well Edward did it again today, he crawled forward a few times when Edward and I were face timing on the computer with Grandma Day, put then didn't do it the rest of the day...

Edward at the booolevard

Well tonight we took Edward and grandma over to Lancaster boulevard to the annual Boolevard Halloween celebration that the city puts on. Edward dressed up as a tiger and boy was there ever a lot of people. The local business gave out candy to the kids who could go trick or treating. Wa it ever busy. Crawling update: still just that one tiny crawl.... Nothing else.... Just waiting for him to decide that it is time to go .

Nothing new

Well nothing really exciting to report today. Tomorrow Edward is going with us and grandma Campbell down to the booolevard in Lancaster to see all the Halloween decorations... What fun that will be....

Crawling update: no new crawls, so maybe that one little moment was... Lucky???

A look back

Well tonight Melissa and I decided to get out Edward's Halloween costume from last year. (Barrel of Monkeys) Boy has he ever grown. Last year he was swimming in it, and today he was not well too comfortable at all. I really thought he was going to fit, boy was I ever wrong... See the pictures below to judge for yourself.....

Crawling UPDATE: Well who had today..... Edward took a small, I mean small crawl forward tonight to get something, but he moved forward... so who picker today...... HURRAY....
