First Communion and Play date

Well two big events today,first at church this morning Edward took his first communion. In the Luther Church it is not a huge thing, the pastor asked us when we got to the front of the communion line if he was ready, we said yes, and he gave Edward a wafer, that we then dipped in grape juice, when we got back to sit down he seemed interested in it, licked it a few times and gave it to mommy. Oh well it was worth a shot..
Later in the day, AJ, Edward's NICU buddy came over for a playdate, oh what fun we all had. AJ go so excited to see all of Edward's toys, he thought he was at a toy story. He refused to come to the table , he just want to play play play. Edward ate and AJ played. After he got done playing we all went outside and they had a great time, mommy even took out the water table and the two of them got all wet, so I gave them both of them a bath. Later Edward drove his 4 wheeler out to AJ's car while AJ drove Edward's green car. Below is a picture of first communion and then a few pictures of play and the boys driving the cars out to AJ's car.
